Technical Director & Filmmaker

Rich Stephens

Rich is a filmmaker with a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the craft behind great visuals. As Technical Director, he supports every stage of production, from filming through to post, ensuring the final product looks and sounds the way it should.

He shares shooting duties with Grant on set, capturing cinematic footage in a style they’ve developed together over many years. In post, Rich focuses on the finishing touches: colour grading, sound design, and audio mix. He also brings extensive drone experience to the team, often flying when aerial footage is needed.

Rich works closely with clients, helping shape projects from both a technical and creative perspective. He brings calm, clarity, and a quiet confidence that keeps things on track.

When he’s not working, he’s usually out exploring Cornwall with his family and camera. Always looking for good light and a great shot.

Creative Director & Filmmaker

Grant Batty

Grant is a filmmaker and editor with a calm, thoughtful approach and a strong instinct for story. As Creative Director, he helps shape each project from first brief to final delivery, bringing narrative clarity and emotional depth to everything we make.

On set, Grant films alongside Rich, capturing content with a shared visual style developed through years of collaboration. Back in the studio, he takes the first pass in the edit, weaving together picture, sound, and rhythm to create stories that feel honest and engaging.

Grant works closely with clients throughout the process and is often the creative guide on projects where tone and narrative are key. He brings focus, perspective, and an ability to put people at ease.

Outside the studio, Grant channels his creativity into the kitchen. He’s an Ooni ambassador and sourdough enthusiast, always chasing the perfect pizza and the joy of sharing it.

We know budgets matter, and we believe in being upfront about pricing. Every project is different, but here’s a general sense of what to expect:

£2,500 to £5,000

Ideal for smaller projects. A single social campaign, a short brand intro, or a property walkthrough. Typically a half-day or single day shoot with focused deliverables.

£5,000 to £15,000

Our most common range. This covers a full production with planning, a shoot day (or two), professional editing, and multiple deliverables. Hero film plus social cuts, or a content library package.

£15,000+

Larger campaigns, documentary-style content, or ongoing partnership arrangements. Multi-day shoots, complex logistics, or productions requiring additional crew and specialists.

Absolutely. We’re on the road regularly. Devon, Bristol, London, across the UK. Our systems are fully remote, so distance isn’t a barrier. Cornwall is home base, but the work takes us wherever it needs to go.

What's included in a typical video production package?

This varies by project, but a standard package includes pre-production planning and creative development, a shoot day with professional equipment, editing and colour grading, music licensing, and delivery in formats optimised for your platforms. Many of our projects also include social cuts, photography, or access to your own content library.

How long does a typical video project take?

From first conversation to final delivery, most projects take 4 to 8 weeks. That includes planning, the shoot itself, and editing with review rounds. We can work faster when needed, but we’d rather take the time to get it right than rush something out the door.

Do you offer drone filming in Cornwall?

Yes. We’re equipped for drone operation and use aerial footage when it serves the story. Cornwall’s landscapes often benefit from that perspective. That said, we’re not precious about it. If a drone shot doesn’t add anything, we won’t suggest one.

Can you help with social media content?

We’ll handle the creative and technical planning. We just need you to show up knowing your brand.

Do you work with businesses outside the lifestyle sector?

We do, though lifestyle and leisure is where we specialise. If you’re a Cornwall business with a genuine story to tell and you value quality over quantity, we’re open to a conversation. The worst that can happen is we point you toward someone better suited.
